Kitchen Design Questions
I want to design my own kitchen. Where do I start?
I'm looking for a PWS - Second Nature kitchen, can better kitchens supply this for me?
Better Kitchens are able to supply any PWS Second Nature kitchen door if required but we do prefer to supply our own range of kitchen doors as we have many ranges that are almost like for like with PWS kitchen doors. Please see our PWS to Better Kitchens product comparison table here.
Can Better Kitchens help with the design of my new kitchen?
Better kitchens are able to offer assistance with kitchen design by email and telephone. Alternatively we do offer a 3D Kitchen design service based on sizes that are supplied by the customer. Unfortunately due to some customers asking for designs with no intention to buy a kitchen we are now asking for a £50 fee for this service. This fee is fully refundable on purchase of a new kitchen from Better Kitchens. This enables us to optimize our time which in turn means that we can offer the best service and price to our customers. Please also see our Kitchen Design Centre for detailed kitchen design & installation advice.
Where can I find detailed sizes of your kitchen units?
You can find detailed sizes of all our kitchen units here. Kitchen Installation Questions I want to install my own kitchen. Where do I start? Please see our installation guide in our Kitchen Design Centre for tips and hints regarding kitchen fitting.
Do Better Kitchens offer Installation services?
No. Better kitchens are a supply only company and do not offer any fitting services.
How much does it cost to have a kitchen installed?
Every kitchen is different, and this means every price for fitting a kitchen is different. As a guide, a good kitchen fitter will charge between £150 - £200 per man per day. A straight forward kitchen re-fit with a Better Kitchen could take as little as 2-3 days with 2 men, excluding fitting of appliances and tiling, etc. Larger more complicated kitchens including appliances and tiling could run into the second week. Please try to get several quotes for the fitting of your new kitchen and our experience with kitchen fitters is that ‘you get what you pay for!
How can I find a good kitchen fitter?
