Choosing the right kitchen doors is a crucial step in designing your dream kitchen. The colour, texture and finish of your doors can transform the look and feel of your space. At Better Kitchens, we understand that online images don't always give a true representation of how a door will appear in your home. That's why we offer kitchen door sample packs, allowing you to experience the quality, style and finish before making a final decision.
How Ordering Samples Works
1. Choose Your Kitchen Style
Browse our kitchen styles and open the one you like. Every style has its own sample pack, so the door you receive is the exact door you would order.
2. Pick Your Colours
Press Order a Sample on the style's page and choose up to six colour swatches from that style's door colours and cabinet colours.
3. See Them at Home
Your samples are delivered to your door, so you can see the real colour, texture and finish in your own light, next to your floor and walls.
4. Plan and Order With Confidence
Once you're happy, design your layout in our free 3D kitchen planner, buy your units online, or ask us for a personalised price.
Sample Options
Door Sample Pack
A sample door in your chosen kitchen style, plus up to six colour swatches. The best way to judge the door's profile, thickness and finish up close before you commit.
Swatch Pack
Up to six colour swatches without the door. Ideal when you have already settled on a style and want to compare colours side by side.
Door and Cabinet Colours Together
Your six swatches can be any mix of door colours and cabinet colours, so you can see how they work together before choosing your combination.
Handle Profile Finishes
Choosing one of our True Handleless kitchens? You can also include swatches of the handle profile finish, from brushed metals to anthracite and black.
Getting the Most From Your Samples
- Look at your samples in daylight and again in the evening under your own lighting. Colours can change noticeably through the day.
- Hold them against your flooring, walls and worktop samples, rather than judging them on their own.
- Stand them upright, the way your kitchen doors will hang, to see how the finish catches the light.
- If you are adding to an existing kitchen, order a new sample first: door specifications can be updated from time to time.
